Hello People.

It's been a long time since I did this, cause I didn't visit the theaters and I don't want posters of movies being shown here to remind me of what I am missing. Thank god April is near. Paul Blart & Shopaholic here I come!

Anyways, this are the movies opening this week:

1) Confessions Of A Shopaholic

Plot:

Based on the book by Sophie Kinsella, "Confessions Of A Shopaholic" is about one Rebecca Bloomwood who unintentionally lands a job writing for a boring financial magazine. Ironically writing about the very consumer caution of which she herself has not abided, Rebecca's wins critical acclaim, public success, and the admiration of her supportive boss Luke. But as she draws closer to her ultimate goal of writing for renowned fashion magazine Alette, she questions her true ambitions and must determine if overcoming her "shopaholic" condition will bring her real happiness.

100% pure chick flick. Bit whatever, seems nice so I'm gonna catch it..! Yay for me!

2) Fan Boys (NC-16)

A fanatical group of Star Wars devotees from the Midwest travel across the country to honour the wish of their dying friend: to watch "Star Wars: Episode I-The Phantom Menace" at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch before the movie's worldwide release.

Hmms..fan boys. For Star Wars fans I guess. That means me. But highly doubt will have the financial capabilities to watch this. 2 movies next weeks. Oh wait actually it's 3.

3) Gran Torino (NC-16)

Plot:

Korean War veteran Walt Kowalski becomes increasingly unhappy with the arrival of some Hmong people into his neighbourhood. When neighbour Tao was caught trying to steal Walt's vintage 1972 Gran Torino, the boy is forced to work for Kowalski. Isolated from his own family members and having just lost his wife, Kowalski gradually becomes friendly with Tao and his family. Eventually he learns about Hmong culture even. Soon, Walt loses his racist side and becomes protective to Tao and his sister from gang harassment.

If you have to watch only one movie this weekend, let Gran Torino be the one for you. Just look at the trailer! Fucking fantastic!
